The Luxembourg Heritage Society consists of a Board of Directors who are active members of the Luxembourg American community in the United States. The LHS was formed in 1990 with the goal of preserving Luxembourg - American heritage in the United States by promoting cultural exchanges between the Grand Duchy and the United States and by raising funds to maintain several historic stone buildings that are considered representative of the early Luxembourg immigration to this land. The government of Luxembourg actively participated in this venture and, with the collaboration of the LHS, the Marnarch House in Rollingstone, Minnesota and the Sinnen House near Belgium, Wisconsin were restored. Today, the Luxembourg Heritage Society continues to pursue opportunities to promote cultural exchanges and to preserve the history of the Luxembourg-American experience. The websites listed below provide information about both the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and about the history, genealogy and general information of the Luxembourg American community.
